The last few years have been good for fans of the classic mana Games! From mobile outlet Mana Echoes is on the way soon, we look back on the franchise and celebrate our favorite mana serial games.
I didn’t have much experience with mana series before 2019, when I tried SNES-era games to see what I had missed in my Final Fantasy fanboy period. I have to admit, the game at the top of my shortlist is still 2020 Mana Trials remake. The 3D update served it well by putting the characters front and center, while the combat, with its adjustable AI and responsive feel, brought it more in line with the genre’s action-RPG presentation. . It may be less transformative than, say, Final Fantasy VII Remake, but it’s a new version of an old classic that seems to respect its original! — Josh
legend of mana is my absolute favorite mana series game. Why? It’s so weird! The way his story progresses is unconventional. You have to explore. You must be careful. You get out of it what you put into it. The way everything is linked together fascinates me. — jenny
