Pennsylvania Department of Labor Holds Workshops to Help People Learn New Unemployment System

Pennsylvania’s unemployment benefit system is set to undergo a major change in just a few weeks, so the Department of Labor and Industry will be hosting virtual workshops to help tax filers get through the transition. more user-friendly. This week, workshops are scheduled for the following days and times: Tuesday, May 18 at 10 a.m. for English-speaking applicants Saturday, May 22 at 2 p.m. for Spanish-speaking applicants Saturday, May 22 at 3:30 p.m. for English-speaking applicants You can find links to the above sessions here. The most asked questions will be addressed during the next workshops. The workshops are also recorded and posted on the Unemployment Benefit website so that you can view them at any time. There are also user guides already available for the new system. You can find them here. The current unemployment system will go offline on May 30. The new system will be available from June 8. So there will be a week of downtime.
