On today’s crowd

It’s amazing whenever we can get a good crowd. It helps us so much on the energetic side of everything, so whenever we can get a good crowd, that’s when we play at our best. We love the support and we love our fans.

On Mac performance

This kid is going to be so good. She’s only a freshman and she’s acting like she’s in fifth grade right now. She’s on fire right now and we’re going to get her back. I love playing behind her.

Ford Coach

On Mac’s First Pac-12 Boot

Mac did a great job. She’s a freshman starting her first Pac-12 game, a little baptism of fire, but I think she did a terrific job. She is a competitor and I think she will improve as she gets more opportunities.

Jaz Rollin

On team energy

Everyone is trying to go hard for Pac-12. The team was locked in and ready to seize every opportunity. We didn’t go there knowing we were going to have a hit. We expected this pitcher to go hard and we went just as hard.
