Laguna Beach Police to Host Cybersecurity Workshop

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Want to learn more about cybercrime protection?

The Laguna Beach Police Department is hosting a free “Fighting Cybercrime” workshop on June 9, and residents are encouraged to attend and learn more about how not to fall prey to online scams.

The department’s Community Services Officer, Nicole Rice, and her Detective Kyle Milot will discuss steps residents can take to defend themselves (and their information) against cyberattacks.

The “Fight Cyber ​​Crime” workshop takes place on June 9 at the Susi Q and Community Center from 11 a.m. to noon. To register, residents can visit the Susi Q and Community Center website.
