The Hotel and Restaurant Association of West India (HRAWI) organized a seminar on Revenue Management for Hotels and Restaurants earlier this month. The seminar was organized to help hoteliers and restaurateurs overcome the challenges of declining revenues and maximize returns. Hesheta Shah, expert in hotel and revenue management, Sainath Vernekar, expert in sales and revenue management and Rajesh Ghanshani, specialist in cloud-based travel and hospitality technology solutions were the subject matter experts of the seminar. Revenue management is the practice of maximizing an establishment’s revenue while selling the same amount of products or services. It uses a combination of strategies and pricing systems to maximize return.
“The hospitality industry is returning to meaningful business today after nearly two years of pandemic-induced closures and restrictions. Now is the time for hotels and restaurants to try to maximize the potential of their business. We organized the seminar specifically to help those hotels and restaurants that need to do just that.
