FSLD Holds Sport MMA Seminar in Pattan, Kashmir | India is blooming

Baramulla/IBNS: The Sports Learning Development Foundation (FSLD) held its first Baramulla sport MMA district seminar at Government Higher Secondary, Pattan, Kashmir on Thursday.

At the seminar attended by more than 50 children, Municipal Committee Chairman Pattan Pritpal Singh Obrai and FSLD Founder Aaqib Majeed were the main guest and guest of honour.

“The Sport MMA format is also known as ‘Ishudo’ and was created by Indian MMA pioneer Daniel Isaac,” said FSLD General Secretary Kaiser Afzal, while adding that they are fully dedicated to promoting MMA sport in baramulla.

“Sport MMA is associated with All India Mixed Martial Arts Association and we are giving chance for youngsters to join us,” he said.

“MMA sport is a sports format of mixed martial arts competition that allows for ‘controlled strikes’ as opposed to the ‘full contact’ nature of existing amateur and professional MMA fighting,” he added.

FSLD provides a platform for children and teens to train and compete in a safe environment, while training in all different aspects of real MMA, namely strikes, takedowns and ground fighting .

“We are not taking anything away from the true nature of ‘mixed martial arts’, but rather solidifying its concepts through an easy-to-understand scoring and point system for the masses,” he asserted.
