Flint Group to Showcase Latest Innovations for Paper and Board at FEFCO Seminar – Covering Printing Inks, Coatings and Allied Industries

Packaging inks from Flint Group and Xeikon, another division of Flint Group, are attending the European Federation of Corrugated Cardboard Manufacturers (FEFCO) Technical Seminar October 20-22, 2021 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Flint Group packaging inks team will present its AQUACode line of water-based inks and coatings specially designed for printing on paper and board, with a focus on TerraCode, a series of inks and bio-renewable coatings. The Company’s TerraCode ink and coating solutions have been developed to meet the growing market demand for sustainable packaging and are highly adaptable, depending on the needs of converters.

Visitors attending the FEFCO event will learn more about Flint Group Packaging Inks’ expertise in color management, including color consistency on substrates and spot colors. The company will discuss VIVO Color Solutions, a digital color management platform designed to increase converter color accuracy and press uptime, as well as reduce substrate and ink waste. Additionally, the team will share details of the company’s investment in a new, state-of-the-art global discovery center in Malmö, Sweden, scheduled to launch in early 2022.

In addition, Xeikon will be present to present IDERA, its post-printing corrugated cardboard digital printing solutions platform. One of the cornerstones of the platform is a single pass printing press that uses food-safe certified water-based inks on coated and uncoated corrugated sheets up to 1.6m wide and 2.8 m long, with draw speeds of up to 150 linear meters. /minute.
