46th Annual Impact Marketing Seminar and 41st Annual New York Wine Experience sells well as Shanken kicks off fall event season

With the fall event season fast approaching, M. Shanken Communications, Inc., New York, announced that the 46th Annual Impact Marketing Seminar and Weekend Packages for the 41st Annual wine in New York from Wine Spectator are both fully booked. The waitlist remains open for both events and limited individual tickets to the Wine Experience Grand Tastings are still available.

The roster of speakers for the 46th edition of the Impact Seminar, to be held September 28 at the Pierre Hotel in New York City, includes top executives from the wine, spirits, distribution, retail and catering. There will also be a panel of senior executives speaking on hot topics in the beverage industry. Although tickets are sold out, those interested in attending can join the waitlist at impactseminar.com as more tickets may become available.

The New York Wine Experience, now in its 41st year, will be held October 20-22 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. In addition to the big Critics’ Choice tastings on Thursday and Friday nights, the festivities will include a packed lineup of daytime seminars on Friday and Saturday, including sessions on California Chardonnay, Chianti Classico, Pinot Noir from Oregon and vintage champagne; as well as vertical tastings of Château Mouton-Rothschild, Dominus and Pingus; and the ever-popular Chefs’ Challenge wine pairing. Proceeds from Wine Experience support the Wine Spectator Scholarship Foundation, which provides grants and scholarships to a wide variety of wine-related and culinary programs. To date, over $30 million has been raised, made possible by the generosity of winemakers around the world, who donate wine for major Wine Experience tastings and seminars, as well as the thousands of wine lovers who attend the event every year.

Mr. Shanken’s fall events also include the Market Watch Leaders Banquet, an invite-only affair at the Pierre on September 29, as well as WhiskyFest San Francisco on October 28, WhiskyFest New York on November 3, Big Smoke Las Vegas on November 11 November and 12, and WhiskyFest Las Vegas on December 2.
