City to Present NHSaves Button Up Virtual Workshop | New

CLAREMONT – The popular Button Up New Hampshire home energy saving workshop series is coming – virtually on Zoom – to the Claremont area on Monday, September 27, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The workshop will include a session of live questions and answers.

The workshop is organized by the City of Claremont, the Claremont Energy Advisory Committee, Marro’s Home Center and LaValley Building Supply. It is sponsored by NHSaves and coordinated statewide by the Plymouth Area Renewable Energy Initiative.

This NHSaves Button Up workshop is a 1.5 hour presentation on how to improve the energy efficiency of your home. It is conducted by a certified energy auditor and covers the basics of building science as well as examples of whole-home weather protection measures that will dress your home during the heating and cooling seasons. It also covers details on energy efficiency programs offered by NH utilities (for existing homes and new construction) which provide energy audits, weather protection measures such as air tightness. and insulation and discounts on new technologies and products such as electric and gas appliances and high efficiency electric heating / cooling equipment.
