Despite the Phoenix Suns holding a 2-1 lead over the Los Angeles Clippers in the Western Conference Finals, the betting public seems to love LA despite Kawhi Leonard being left out with a knee injury.
According to the latest splits from DraftKings Sportsbook, 60 percent of bets come to the Clippers. Los Angeles has +350 to win the series after storming the Suns in the third quarter of Game 3 to halve Phoenix’s lead in the series. 60% of the show’s money is also in the LA trend.
Paul George continues to lead the Clippers despite Leonard being sidelined, but Reggie Jackson and Terance Mann are emerging as vital cogs in the LA rotation. Jackson brings relief as a secondary scorer and Mann brings energy and effort to give the Clippers an edge they might have missed last year.
The Suns, who are at -480 to win the series, receive 40 percent of the money and bets. Phoenix brought back point guard Chris Paul in Game 3, but he and Devin Booker struggled on the court in a 106-92 loss.
Game 4 is Saturday at 9 p.m. ET.
